Renée - A film by Jordan Hill
A tragedy is relived through a series of cassettes by a mysterious young woman, alone in a hotel.
(My very first effort at making a short film.)

Honestly, it’s an impossible story. Sometimes I find difficulty grasping just how far we’ve come despite the world being against us. I mean that in its most literal sense by the way. There’s this body of water, it’s pretty big, some people call it the Atlantic Ocean I think but I just call it “that soggy bitch”. But yeah, we met for the very first time in an airport (how metaphorically poetic) and I hate to coin the phrase but we really did click. Although technically speaking we had already clicked and been very happily clicking for many months before. It’s so surreal how a series of unconnected and insignificant choices have lead to discovering one person who I could not imagine my life without, my very very very best friend. She is absolutely irreplaceable.
